Se examinar\u00e1 el ojo por medio de una l\u00e1mpara de hendidura y se le dilatar\u00e1n las pupilas mediante un colirio para facilitar el examen del fondo del ojo.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/arisvisionmexico.com\/cdmx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/uveitis.jpg\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" data-original-height=\"249\" data-original-width=\"375\" height=\"212\" src=\"https:\/\/arisvisionmexico.com\/cdmx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/uveitis-300x199.jpg\" width=\"320\"><\/a><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;\"><span style=\"font-family: &quot;tahoma&quot; , sans-serif; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;\">Puede que se requiera la realizaci\u00f3n de pruebas adicionales como una OCT (tomograf\u00eda de coherencia \u00f3ptica), una prueba de campo visual o una angiograf\u00eda de retina, con el objetivo de evaluar posibles complicaciones provocadas por la inflamaci\u00f3n, como pueden ser cataratas, glaucoma o edema retiniano.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;\"><span style=\"font-family: &quot;tahoma&quot; , sans-serif; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;\">Adem\u00e1s, puede ser necesaria la realizaci\u00f3n de an\u00e1lisis de sangre y\/o radiograf\u00edas para ayudar a detectar la causa de la uve\u00edtis.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;\"><span style=\"font-family: &quot;tahoma&quot; , sans-serif; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;\">El tratamiento depender\u00e1 del tipo de uve\u00edtis y de la gravedad de la inflamaci\u00f3n.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;\"><span style=\"font-family: &quot;tahoma&quot; , sans-serif; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;\">En caso de que se considere que la uve\u00edtis deriva de una infecci\u00f3n, se a\u00f1adir\u00e1n antibi\u00f3ticos o f\u00e1rmacos antivirales a su tratamiento.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;\"><span style=\"font-family: &quot;tahoma&quot; , sans-serif; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;\">La mayor\u00eda de las uve\u00edtis anteriores se tratan con colirios de corticosteroides, que se administraran de forma bastante frecuente al inicio y se ir\u00e1n reduciendo a medida que se observe una mejor\u00eda<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;\"><span style=\"font-family: &quot;tahoma&quot; , sans-serif; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;\">Tambi\u00e9n se administran colirios midri\u00e1ticos para aliviar el dolor y evitar sin\u00e9quias del iris al cristalino, ya que dificultar\u00eda el examen del fondo del ojo y ayuda a reducir el riesgo de elevaci\u00f3n de la presi\u00f3n intraocular.
