En su fase aguda, esta enfermedad se manifiesta con una <\/span><b>conjuntivitis bilateral<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, afectando al epitelio corneal, seguido de una inflamaci\u00f3n que puede provocar complicaciones a largo plazo.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sin embargo, los primeros s\u00edntomas del s\u00edndrome son m\u00e1s comunes de lo que se cree, y pueden ocasionar que nos cueste trabajo detectarlos, algunos son:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dolor de boca y garganta<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fatiga<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ardor en los ojos<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fiebre<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En seguimiento con los s\u00edntomas ya mencionados, se encuentran las complicaciones que esta enfermedad genera, entre las cuales se encuentran:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Deshidrataci\u00f3n.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Debido a las llagas en boca y garganta, provocando dificultad para ingerir l\u00edquidos.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Da\u00f1o permanente en la piel.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Presentando despigmentaci\u00f3n, aparici\u00f3n de bultos y cicatrices.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Problemas visuales.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Inflamaci\u00f3n de los ojos, sensibilidad a la luz y ojo seco.
